Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Technician II to support Molding Production in Johor, Malaysia. You will operate molding automation per SOPs and document according to Good Documentation Practices to meet quality and output targets. The role requires a Diploma/Certificate in technician/engineering and a willingness to work 12-hour weekly rotating shifts.

Experience in molding is a plus, though not required. Alcon values safety, data integrity, and adherence to its code of business conduct across operations.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Technician/Engineering related course.
• No experience required; candidates with relevant work experience would have an advantage.
• Must be willing to work in 12 hours weekly rotating shift.
• Good to have knowledge/experience in molding.

Responsibilities

• Perform optical tool inspection, assembly, PON set-up, targeting, line clearance, mechanical and negative checks, UV readings and PON changeover.
• Handle molding automation operations in response to faults and ensure all the documentation is in proper record.
• Perform mold cosmetic inspection and bubble check on dry lens.
• Adherence to Alcon Values & Behaviors, observe and ensure full compliance with Alcon Code of Business Conducts.
• Fully comply to Data Integrity procedure and requirements.
• Observe and ensure full compliance with Alcon Health Safety and Environment Standards.
