Electronic Arts is offering a Software Engineer Intern position in Kuala Lumpur for a 3 month + 19 days term starting January 2027. The hybrid role places you onsite at the Kuala Lumpur studio and under daily mentorship from senior engineers.

You’ll contribute to mobile-focused projects on FC Mobile, tackling performance, data structures, and UI concerns while building real-world software skills. You will design, implement, and test features such as internal tools or live-ops web components,

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science, software engineering, IT, or related field.
• Strong grasp of core programming logic, data structures, and algorithms.
• Willingness to communicate daily with a mentor and ask questions.
• Preferred: experience with React, Node.js, or TypeScript in academic or personal projects.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, and maintain code for internal tools or web views.
• Practice safe handling of errors, delays, and edge cases in code.
• Work closely with your mentor to break down tasks and align on execution.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from the team.
• Present your project journey to the engineering team at internship end.
