Job summary

CRBC (M) Holdings Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a skilled Mobile Crane Operator to join our bridge construction project team in Sarawak.

You will operate mobile cranes for lifting and placing materials, perform pre-operational inspections, and coordinate with site staff to ensure safe lifting operations. The ideal candidate holds a DOSH/JKKP Crane Operator Certificate, CIDB Green Card, and Class E license with GDL, with 3–5 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold DOSH/JKKP Crane Operator Certificate (Orang Kompeten).
• Valid CIDB Green Card and Class E driving license with GDL required.
• 3–5 years of experience operating mobile cranes in construction or heavy industries.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile cranes (wheeled and crawler, incl. 50-ton capacity) to lift, move and place materials safely.
• Perform pre-operational crane inspections, check load charts, outriggers, rigging and safety devices.
• Follow lift plans and signal instructions from riggers; coordinate with site engineers and supervisors.
• Conduct routine crane maintenance and daily checks; maintain accurate logbooks and inspection records.
• Strictly adhere to DOSH/JKKP safety regulations and site rules; report issues immediately.
• Assist with rigging and load securement as required; work at bridge construction sites in Sarawak.

Job description

CRBC (M) Holdings Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Mobile Crane Operator to join our bridge construction project team in Sarawak. You will be responsible for operating mobile cranes (including wheeled and crawler cranes, such as 50-ton capacity units) to lift, move, and place heavy construction materials, precast components, steel structures, and equipment safely and efficiently at project sites. Your duties include conducting pre-operational inspections of the crane, checking load charts, outriggers, rigging, and safety devices, operating the crane according to lift plans and signal instructions from riggers, coordinating with site engineers and supervisors to ensure safe lifting operations, performing routine maintenance and daily checks on the crane to ensure it is in good working condition, maintaining accurate logbooks and inspection records, strictly adhering to DOSH/JKKP safety regulations and company site safety rules, reporting any mechanical issues, accidents, or near-misses immediately, and assisting with rigging and load securement when required. The ideal candidate must possess a valid DOSH/JKKP Crane Operator Certificate (Orang Kompeten), a valid Class E driving license with GDL (for wheeled cranes), a valid CIDB Green Card, and at least 3 to 5 years of experience operating mobile cranes in construction or heavy industries. Strong knowledge of load charts, crane safety systems, lifting plans, and rigging techniques is essential. Experience operating large cranes (e.g., 50-ton capacity and above) and working on bridge or infrastructure projects is a strong advantage. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, and to be based at bridge construction locations in Sarawak, including remote or rural areas, is required.
