Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a Building Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to monitor, maintain, and repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and safety systems. The role involves preventive maintenance, energy management, and timely repairs to keep facilities operating at peak efficiency.

Ideal candidates will have a diploma or trade school background with 4-5 years of relevant experience, and a valid driver’s license to support mobile technical tasks across multiple sites in Klang

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification is preferred.
• Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Physical ability to lift/carry heavy loads up to 50 lbs and to perform required movements.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems; keep facilities up to standards.
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives.
• Maintain an energy management program; ensure systems operate efficiently.
