Job summary

CBRE is hiring a Maintenance Technician to uphold and service small to mid-sized buildings in Kuala Lumpur. You will perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, inspect installations, and support energy management efforts.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or relevant certificate with 1–2 years of related experience, strong communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This role requires physical capability and precise adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant certificate with 1–2 years of related experience.
• Must meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing stairs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
