Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Bayan Lepas, Penang invites an intern to contribute to implementing new features and improving existing ones. You will engage in requirements, design, implementation and testing activities as part of a global software team.

The role requires pursuing a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or Computer Science with strong C/C++ skills, and the ability to work across diverse teams. Start dates in June to September are considered.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Contribute as an individual engineer on implementing new features or enhancing existing features.
• Participate in all phases of product development from requirements to testing.
• Coordinate and participate in software design and code reviews.
• Create and execute unit, integration and system tests.
• Collaborate across multiple sites in a global development environment.
• Meet project deliverables and timelines in a dynamic setting.
• Adhere to team performance and quality metrics.
• Collect and analyze data affecting KPIs.
• Contribute to improving software development processes.
• Apply strong communication and teamwork to solve problems.
