Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Telecommunications/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 2–5 years of software development experience.
• Fresh graduates / entry level encouraged.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills and OOP fundamentals.
• Understanding of microcontroller operation in embedded systems.
• System debugging and analytical skills.
• Hands‑on RTOS and embedded development is a plus.
• LTE/DMR knowledge advantageous.
• Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Onsite in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance software features for two‑way radios.
• Participate in the full SDLC from requirements to deployment.
• Analyze requirements with attention to quality, performance, time and budget constraints.
• Collaborate with front‑end architects, hardware, test engineers and other stakeholders.
• Write clean, well‑documented C/C++ code for embedded systems.
• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Develop and execute unit, integration, and system‑level tests.
• Debug and troubleshoot embedded software using various tools.
• Monitor KPIs and contribute to team performance goals.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget in an agile environment.
• Work in a multi‑site, global development setting.
• Contribute to IP development that enhances products.
