DXC Technology Malaysia Sdn Bhd. seeks an experienced IT Operations professional to provide midrange infrastructure support across Windows, Linux, Oracle, storage and backup services, aligning with ITIL and ITSM standards.

You will work with global teams to maintain performance and availability, and contribute to training and documentation while adapting to evolving technologies and customer needs. You will join a company with a 60-year track record in delivering and modernizing mission-critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent work experience.
• 4~5+ years of IT operations experience in infrastructure services, monitoring, and end-user support.
• Professional certifications in Windows/Linux/VMware/Oracle VM/SQL/EMC/NetApp preferred.
• Excellent communication in Japanese (JLPT N1/BJT J2).
• Excellent ITIL/ITSM knowledge and practice.

Job Descriptions

Provide technical expertise to support IT infrastructure especially in IT Midrange support (e.g., Windows, Linux, Oracle, Storage & Backup, etc.) and related services (e.g., Business Continuity) throughout the lifecycle of a deal in accordance with contractual obligations, established technical standards that support complex business needs in accordance with ITSM process (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration, Release and Capacity Management).

Key responsibilities

Apply expert technical knowledge to administer one or more technology areas in system design, build and administration, security, performance and availability management

Maintain a broad understanding of the latest developments in technologies, industry specific issues, competitor and vendor activity and initiatives

Integrate technical knowledge and business understanding to create superior solutions for the company and for customers

Contribute to quality and productivity improvement projects, providing analysis of information and documentation

Understand a customer's complex organizational structure and support processes, with multiple regions, countries, sites, contact points, processes, people, cultures, etc.

Become proficient in new technologies and business applications

Provide training and documentation on area of expertise and new technology

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in IT discipline from universities/colleges, or equivalent work experiences

4 ~ 5+ years' experience within IT operations of infrastructure services support, operations monitoring and end user support

Professional certification such as Windows/Linux/VMWare/Oracle VM/SQL/EMC/NetApp

Excellent communication in Japanese at least certified with JLPT Level 1/N1 or BJT J2

Excellent understanding of ITSM/ITIL processes, preferably ITIL trained

Excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability and desire to work in a collaborative team environment

Independent and able to work with less or no supervision

Demonstrated ability to adapt to a changing environment and work under high pressure

Work flexibly based on business requirement
