Job summary

Hong Kong Unison Limited in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Purview consultant to lead end-to-end Microsoft Purview implementations across Information Protection, DLP, Insider Risk Management, and related compliance domains.

You will translate approved Purview designs into configuration workbooks, test cases, deployment plans, and technical documentation, while coordinating with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Privacy, IT Security, and client teams to ensure deployment readiness.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience implementing Purview in enterprise security, privacy or governance.
• Hands-on knowledge of Purview Information Protection, labeling, DLP, and eDiscovery.
• Ability to implement Purview designs across Microsoft 365 apps and endpoints.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Purview implementations across governance, protection, and compliance.
• Translate designs into configuration workbooks, deployment plans, test cases, and docs.
• Configure Purview controls across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams.

Job description

• Lead end-to-end Microsoft Purview implementation activities aligned to Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Insider Risk Management, Communication Compliance, Data Lifecycle Management, Records Management, eDiscovery, and Audit.
• Implement sensitivity labels, label publishing, auto-labelling, DLP policies, Endpoint DLP controls, insider-risk policies, communication-compliance policies, retention controls, records-management policies, eDiscovery cases, and audit requirements.
• Translate approved Purview architecture and detailed designs into configuration workbooks, implementation plans, build procedures, test cases, deployment activities, and technical documentation.
• Configure and validate Purview controls across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 applications, and supported endpoints.
• Lead configuration walkthroughs, technical testing, policy validation, defect resolution, implementation-evidence review, and deployment-readiness activities.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Privacy, Identity, Endpoint, Messaging, SOC, IT Security, and client technology teams to manage prerequisites, dependencies, access, and implementation decisions.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience implementing Microsoft Purview in enterprise security, compliance, data-protection, or information-governance environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of Purview Information Protection, sensitivity labels, auto-labelling, Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint DLP, Insider Risk Management, Communication Compliance, Data Lifecycle Management, Records Management, eDiscovery, and Audit.
• Ability to implement approved Purview designs across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 applications, and supported endpoints.
• Familiarity with built-in and custom Sensitive Information Types, Exact Data Match, trainable classifiers, retention controls, Purview role groups, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Defender XDR integration points.
• Strong understanding of Purview configuration, testing, policy simulation, phased enforcement, implementation evidence, technical documentation, and end-to-end delivery
