Job summary

Noventiq Malaysia is seeking a Microsoft Modern Workplace Engineer to join the Services Delivery Team in Kuala Lumpur. You will deploy and implement Modern Workplace solutions based on Microsoft technologies, focusing on hands-on deployment and migrations for external customers.

You will work with senior engineers and project managers to design, deploy Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune/Endpoint Manager, and Entra ID; manage migrations from Google Workspace and other

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on deployment and deployment experience with Microsoft 365 / Modern Workplace solutions (2+ years).
• Implementation-focused — hands-on experience deploying Exchange Online / EOP, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune / Endpoint Manager, and Entra ID.
• Experience delivering migrations from other solutions to Microsoft (Google Workspace, Lotus Notes/Domino, Zimbra, on-premises Exchange, file servers).
• Basic PowerShell scripting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• English — read technical documentation and speak/present confidently to customers.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure Microsoft 365 Modern Workplace solutions (Exchange Online, EOP, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune/Endpoint Manager, Entra ID).
• Deliver migrations from other solutions to Microsoft (Google Workspace, Lotus Notes/Domino, Zimbra, on-premises Exchange, file servers).
• Execute hybrid and tenant-to-tenant migrations, including identity/hybrid configuration (Entra Connect, SSO).
• Deploy and manage devices with Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Produce project documentation and admin/user guides.
• Support customer enablement and training sessions (Microsoft 365 / Copilot).

Job Overview

We’re looking for a Microsoft Modern Workplace Engineer to bring your talent to Noventiq Malaysia. You’ll be part of our Services Delivery Team, responsible for delivering and implementing Modern Workplace solutions for external customers based on Microsoft technologies. This is a delivery and implementation role focused on hands‑on deployment and migration.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with senior engineers, Project Managers, and customers to gather requirements and implement technical designs.
• Deploy and configure Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Modern Workplace solutions — Exchange Online, EOP, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Manager, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Deliver migrations from other/third-party solutions to Microsoft — e.g., Google Workspace, Lotus Notes/Domino, Zimbra, on-premises Exchange, and file servers — into Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Execute hybrid and tenant-to-tenant migrations, including identity/hybrid configuration (Entra Connect, SSO).
• Deploy and manage devices with Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Deliver Proof-of-Concept (POC) tasks under guidance.
• Produce project documentation and admin/user guides.
• Support customer enablement and training sessions (Microsoft 365 / Copilot).

About You

• Proven hands‑on implementation and deployment experience with Microsoft 365 / Modern Workplace solutions (2+ years).
• Implementation‑focused — Hands‑on experience deploying and implementing Exchange Online / EOP, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune / Endpoint Manager, and Entra ID.
• Experience delivering migrations from other solutions to Microsoft (Google Workspace, Lotus Notes/Domino, Zimbra, on‑premises Exchange, file servers).
• Basic PowerShell scripting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• English — able to read technical documentation and to speak and present confidently to customers (verbal communication is required).

Advantages (Nice to Have)

• On‑premises infrastructure experience — Exchange Server, Active Directory, ADCS (PKI), Windows Server, DNS, and Group Policy (optional focus).
• Microsoft security skills — Microsoft Defender (for Endpoint / for Office 365), Microsoft Purview (DLP, Information Protection), and Conditional Access.
• AI and Microsoft Copilot Studio skills — exposure to Copilot agents is a plus.
• Experience with third‑party migration tooling (e.g., Quest, BitTitan, AvePoint).
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-900, MS-102, MD-102).
