Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Facilities Services Manager with extensive semiconductor operations experience to lead a multi-layer facilities team and oversee cleanroom HVAC, chillers and critical utility systems. Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs. Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities department. Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion. May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.What you’ll doManages vendor relationships and ensures vendors performance to facilities operations requirements. You will manage the integrated facilities management team to upkeep Cleanroom HVAC systems, chillers, air compressors, vacuum & HT/LV electrical systems etc. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of IFM resources, including overtime.Responsible for facilities inspections and reports.Conducts financial/business analysis including preparation of reports. Obtains and reviews price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for facility service and small projects. Prepares operating budget and variance reports.Responsible for invoice processing and accuracy of cost center coding.Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, and corrective action. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies.
