Job summary

Lam Research in Malaysia is seeking a talented data analytics automation engineer to help develop automation solutions that enhance analytics and decision making. You will participate in UAT, create documentation, and train end users to ensure smooth adoption.

You will also sustain systems and drive continuous improvement while contributing to ad hoc tasks required by the team. Hybrid work options are available across on-site and remote settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent.
• Proficient in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques and frameworks.
• Experience using data systems, BI tools and Power BI.

Responsibilities

The Global Operations Group brings information systems, facilities, supply chain, logistics, and high-volume manufacturing together to drive the engine of our global business operations. We help Lam deliver industry-leading solutions with speed and efficiency, while actively supporting the resilient and profitable growth of Lam's business.

What you’ll do

• Assist in development of automation solutions to support and enhance the data analytics and decision makings.
• Responsible to conduct UAT, documentation and provide trainings to end users.
• Perform system sustaining and continuous improvement.
• Perform any other tasks and duties as required.

Who we’re looking for

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
• Programming Language: Python, SQL
• Hands‑on experience with Machine Learning techniques and frameworks.
• Use computer-based data systems, applications, and Office software (e.g. Microsoft Business Intelligent) and Power BI
• Preferably to have experience in setup database/server

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on‑site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On‑site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On‑site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on‑site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on‑site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
