Job summary

RoviSys seeks an MES Functional Analyst / Technical Project Manager to define business requirements and lead MES implementations from requirements through go-live. This hybrid role blends functional analysis with hands-on project management, owning timelines and coordinating IT, engineering, and production teams.

You will help ensure MES configurations meet production goals, analyze data post-implementation, and communicate progress to stakeholders with a focus on efficiency and quality

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of technical hands-on experience as a developer or engineer, or similar role, with end-to-end project exposure.
• Exposure to manufacturing environments; experience across more than one manufacturing industry is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of MES capabilities and how they can be applied to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Agile and/or traditional project management methodology.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating business needs, research and impact analysis of new requirements or changes.
• Architect solutions to solve business problems efficiently.
• Plan and manage MES project execution - scope, schedule, budget, and resources, from kickoff through go-live.
• Develop and maintain the corporate knowledgebase for MES and related applications.
• Develop training plans and provide ongoing user training as needed.
• Serve as primary contact to manage issues with vendors and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Develop test cases and perform comprehensive functional testing.
• Work with IT and MES development teams to configure and customize MES.
• Monitor MES performance post-implementation to ensure desired outcomes.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and professionalism to resolve user issues.
• Prepare detailed project status reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
