Job summary

LONGCHEER TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking an MES/Manufacturing Systems support specialist to cover shift duties.

You will ensure smooth MES operations, handle on-site faults, and support production reporting, WIP, and warehouse processes. The role involves rapid troubleshooting of MES-PLC-ERP integrations and cross-functional issue resolution. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in MES implementation or manufacturing system support.
• Familiar with MES, ERP, WMS, PLC, SQL Database, and system integration.
• Knowledge of semiconductor, electronics, or manufacturing processes is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Proficient in English; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Be on duty for MES system during shift, timely handle on-site faults such as system errors, scanning failures and data collection interruption.
• Ensure normal operation of production reporting, work order flow, material verification, WIP transit and warehouse management.
• Quickly troubleshoot communication exceptions between MES, automatic equipment, PLC and terminals to resume production efficiently.
• Solve daily issues including account authority, work order release, material binding and process station adjustment.
• Record shift failure logs and follow up root cause optimization with day shift engineers.
• Standardize on-site staff operation behaviors to reduce man-made system abnormalities.
• Cooperate with production line for line change, product switching and production status adjustment.
• Verify shift production data, handle abnormal documents and complete temporary data statistics.
• Complete handover work clearly and record pending problems and key work points.
