Job summary

Eco-Shop Marketing Berhad in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Merchandiser/Buyer to manage supplier relationships, source products, and optimize the assortment in a fast-paced retail environment. You will coordinate with local and overseas suppliers to align samples, pricing, and delivery schedules.

The role involves monitoring stock levels to prevent overstock or stockouts, conducting market and sales analysis to improve product mix and display strategies, and supporting sales activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, supply chain, marketing, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in merchandising, buying, or retail operations.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and inventory systems.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase goods in line with cost, quality, and margin targets.
• Liaise with local and overseas suppliers on samples, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with Operations, Marketing, and Retail teams to ensure smooth product flow.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent overstock or stockouts.
• Conduct market and sales analysis to optimize product mix, pricing, and display strategies.
• Visit retail outlets to assess merchandising standards and support sales activities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
