Job summary

Gnosis Laboratories Group is hiring a Medical Laboratory Technologist to process blood and other specimens and perform a wide range of clinical tests across hematology, microbiology, immunology, chemistry and urinalysis.

The role requires completing a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or higher, with preferred clinical attachment or lab experience. Fresh graduates can apply and transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Processes and handles blood and/or other biological specimens according to established procedures
• Performs a variety of clinical laboratory tests in hematology, microbiology, immunology, clinical chemistry, and urinalysis
• Performs quality control on test results, ensuring validity and accuracy
• Performs calibration and troubleshooting on testing systems and instruments to ensure adherence to established standards of accuracy
• Keeps records and reports on results according to established procedures
• Practices safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Job description

This role involves processing and handling blood and other biological specimens according to established procedures, and performing a variety of clinical laboratory tests in the areas of hematology, microbiology, immunology, clinical chemistry, and urinalysis.

Key responsibilities

Processes and handles blood and/or other biological specimens according to established procedures

Performs a variety of clinical laboratory tests in the areas of hematology, microbiology, immunology, clinical chemistry, and urinalysis, as assigned

Performs quality control on test results, ensuring validity and accuracy

Performs calibration and troubleshooting on testing systems and instruments to ensure adherence to established standards of accuracy

Keeps records and reports on results according to established procedures

Practices safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods

Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

About you

Successfully completed Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology course or above certificate

Clinical attachment or lab working experience preferred

Fresh graduates can apply
