Boston Scientific Medical Device (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to design, develop, and maintain complex manufacturing and test equipment for medical devices in Penang.

Minimum 2 years of working experience in manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Participates on project teams to develop clear specifications and estimates for system designs.
Leads and liaises with external design companies to provide engineering solutions.
Creates and reviews mechanical designs and detail drawings using parametric modelling and FEA software.
Coordinates, monitors and documents project designs, estimates, and costs.
Leads project teams in design, assembly, and debug of equipment and provides leadership on best practices.
Designs pneumatic systems and specifies pneumatic components; identifies electrical components and automation needs.
Assists with FDA/QSR equipment documents including specs, software validations, and qualifications.
