Job summary

Boston Scientific Medical Device (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Penang is seeking a software-focused engineer to design and implement control software for manufacturing and test equipment.

You will work under limited supervision within a team to develop and update software and ensure systems validation. The role requires knowledge of VB.NET/C#, SQL databases, and automation hardware such as AB PLCs and Aerotech motion control.

Qualifications

• Designs and develops software for new equipment and updates existing software.
• Familiar with automation systems, PC/PLC-based controls, motion control and vision systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting and debugging SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide software support to Equipment Design, Maintenance and Manufacturing teams.
• Develop and validate machine control software integrated with controllers, motion systems and vision sensors.
• Ensure hardware/software validation per company procedures and 21 CFR Part 11.
• Assist in CIP and manufacturing support during downtime or process improvements.
