Job summary

ASP MEDICAL CLINIC SDN BHD in Bayan Lepas is seeking a Medical Doctor for a full-time, on-site role. You will provide comprehensive clinical care, including consultations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and follow-up, aligned with clinic protocols and guidelines.

You will perform physical exams, order tests, prescribe medications, and coordinate care with nurses and other professionals. Maintain EMR records and participate in telemedicine and wellness initiatives while upholding patient safety

Qualifications

• Recognized MBBS or equivalent with full registration with the MMC and an Annual Practicing Certificate.
• Clinical competency in assessment, diagnosis and management of primary care and chronic conditions.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses and allied health staff.
• Proficient in using EMR, clinic management systems, and digital tools for telemedicine workflows.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; clear explanations to diverse patients.
• Commitment to patient-centered care, confidentiality, and ethical practice.
• Willingness to work on-site in Bayan Lepas with flexible scheduling.
• Experience in primary care, occupational health or telemedicine is an advantage; language skills helpful.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Medical Doctor role based in Bayan Lepas. The Medical Doctor will provide comprehensive clinical care including patient consultation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up in alignment with clinic protocols and evidence-based guidelines. Daily responsibilities include conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals such as nurses, nutritionists, and physiotherapists. The role involves maintaining accurate medical records within the clinic’s digital systems, contributing to wellness and preventive health programs, and supporting telemedicine services where applicable. The Medical Doctor is also expected to participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and uphold high standards of patient safety, confidentiality, and professional ethics.

Qualifications

• Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and full registration with the Malaysian Medical Council; valid Annual Practicing Certificate.
• Clinical competency in patient assessment, diagnosis, and management across common primary care and chronic conditions, with strong clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records, clinic management systems, and basic digital tools to support telemedicine and healthcare technology workflows.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain medical information clearly and build trust with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practice, confidentiality, and adherence to relevant clinical and regulatory standards.
• Willingness to work on-site in Bayan Lepas with flexible scheduling as needed, and to participate in ongoing professional development and training.
• Experience in primary care, occupational health, or telemedicine is an advantage; additional language proficiency beyond English and Bahasa Malaysia is beneficial.
