Job summary

MenCare Clinic is seeking a dedicated Resident Doctor to join our growing healthcare team at our Shah Alam and Kuala Lumpur branches. This role focuses on men's health, preventive medicine, wellness consultations, and management of common acute and chronic medical conditions in a private clinical setting.

You will provide outpatient consultations, manage men's health concerns, conduct health screenings, prescribe treatments, and work closely with clinic staff to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent recognised medical degree.
• Fully registered with the MMC and holds a current APC.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in primary care or men's health is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient consultations, diagnosis, and treatment for general medical and men's health conditions.
• Manage common men's health concerns including erectile dysfunction and testosterone deficiency.
• Conduct health screenings, preventive health assessments, and wellness programs.
• Prescribe medications and formulate treatment plans per Malaysian guidelines.
• Perform minor clinical procedures when required.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Ensure patient confidentiality, professionalism, and bedside manner.
• Educate patients on lifestyle modification and long-term health optimisation.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient daily operations and referrals to specialists when needed.

MenCare Clinic is seeking a dedicated and professional Resident Doctor to join our growing healthcare team at our Shah Alam and Kuala Lumpur branches. This role focuses on men's health, preventive medicine, wellness consultations, and management of common acute and chronic medical conditions in a private clinical setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient consultations, diagnosis, and treatment for general medical and men's health conditions.
• Manage common men's health concerns including erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, testosterone deficiency, male fertility screening, urinary symptoms, weight and metabolic health, and lifestyle-related conditions.
• Conduct health screenings, preventive health assessments, and wellness programs.
• Prescribe medications and formulate treatment plans in accordance with Malaysian medical guidelines and professional standards.
• Perform minor clinical procedures when required.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records and documentation.
• Ensure strict patient confidentiality, professionalism, and excellent bedside manner.
• Educate patients regarding lifestyle modification, nutrition, exercise, weight management, and long-term health optimisation.
• Work collaboratively with clinic assistants, management, and other doctors to maintain efficient daily clinic operations.
• Refer patients to appropriate specialists or hospitals when clinically indicated.

About you

• MBBS / MD or equivalent recognised medical degree.
• Fully registered with the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
• Valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Experience in primary care, family medicine, emergency medicine, or men's health is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a clinical team.
• Professional, ethical, responsible, and patient-centred.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Mandarin or other additional languages are an advantage.
