Job summary

Heart & Science Malaysia is seeking an enthusiastic Planning Assistant to support media strategy for key accounts such as Mitsubishi Motors and Panasonic. You will work with the Planning Manager to deliver integrated media plans and learn the ropes of modern digital-centric media planning.

The role offers hands-on experience in new business development, client servicing, and using OMNI STUDIO to drive planning and campaign proposals across offline and online channels.

Qualifications

• Less than a year of experience in media or communications with digital-centric knowledge.
• Positive energy and hunger to learn.
• Passion for ideas, building brands, and understanding consumers.

Responsibilities

• Be part of new business development and pitches.
• Develop client service and relationship management and mentor younger talents.
• Collaborate with planning leads to drive media strategies.
• Use OMNI STUDIO to plan campaigns.
• Brainstorm brand campaigns and campaign proposals.
• Identify trends and consumer insights to inform ideas.
• Do holistic media planning across offline and online channels.

The experience you will gather with H&S Planning department:

• Being part of new business development and pitches
• Gain confidence in client service and relationship management as well as mentorship to younger talents and talent growth development plan.
• Work closely with Manager and Associate Director to drive communications planning and more strategic approaches to media planning and solutions.
• Gain strategic ability to develop communications planning with H&S’s proprietary planning operations systems – OMNI STUDIO.
• Brand campaign planning, brainstorming of media & creative ideas and campaign strategy and proposal development to client.
• Develop understanding for unearthing trends and consumer insights that drives media ideas and strategies.
• Gain holistic media planning, with hybrid function of planning and delivering both offline & online solutions.

Requirements:

• Less than a year experience in media or communications industry with a passion good knowledge for digital-centric approaches and operations.
