Job summary

LAM RESEARCH Corporation in Penang, Malaysia seeks a Product Engineer 3 to own and support platform product engineering of electromechanical devices for worldwide distribution.

You will manage supplier production releases, training and quality development, and maintain QA protocols for processing materials into finished products. The role emphasizes problem solving, design reviews with cross-functional teams, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical Engineering and Robotics.
• Experience with SPC, DOE, FMEA, RCCA, 8D & 5-Whys problem solving.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Project).
• Experience in cross-functional project management and leading technical projects.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Own and support platform product engineering for electromechanical devices.
• Coordinate with design, process, test, reliability, and manufacturing groups to resolve product issues.
• Ensure suppliers’ quality and lead production release activities.
• Conduct design reviews with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
