Job summary

SBH Kibing Solar New Materials (M) Sdn Bhd in Sabah is seeking a maintenance technician to support heavy equipment and production lines. You will perform inspections, maintain machinery records, and assist in fabrication-related tasks as part of a collaborative team.

Candidates should have SPM/ STPM/ SKM or Diploma and welding credentials, with English and Bahasa Malaysia communication. Training and relocation opportunities are available as the company grows.

Qualifications

• 3G and 6G welding skills are preferred.
• Proficient communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin an advantage.
• Welding certificates are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Able to work in a heaty environment.
• Willing to work on-shift.
• Understand simple & assembly drawings.
• Regularly inspect and perform TPM on machineries as instructed by leader.
• Update maintenance and servicing history records.
• Support maintenance work in other sections when required.
• Maintain and repair machineries (blowers, pumps, cooling towers, conveyors).
• Be a team-player with good discipline.
• Take measurements for fabrication and dimension checks.
• Familiar with oxy-acetylene, plasma cutting and power tools.
• Keep work areas and machines clean and tidy after use.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies.
• Attend ad-hoc assignments as required.

Job Responsibilities

• 1. Able to work in a heaty environment

• 3. Able to understand simple drawings and assembly drawings
• 4. Responsible to perform regular inspection and TPD on all machineries as instructed by leader
• 5. Responsible to update equipment maintenance and servicing history record.
• 6. Support maintenance work in other section when required
• 7. Experience and skillful in maintenance and repair of machineries, i.e: blowers, pumps, cooling towers, conveyor system and etc.
• 8. Able to work as a team-player and good discipline.
• 9. Able to take measurement for fabrication and dimension check.
• 10. Familiar with oxy-acetylene, plasma cutting and working experience of power tools.
• 11. Responsible to keep work areas, benches and machinery in a tidy and clean condition after used.
• 12. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• 13. Adhere to company policies & procedures.
• 14. Attend ad-hoc assignments when required from time to time.
