Job summary

LB Aluminium Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical Technician for daily maintenance on machines and equipment. You will follow instructions from the maintenance supervisor and ensure equipment is in good operating condition.

Candidates with a Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, 1 year of machine assembly experience, and willingness to work shifts are encouraged to apply; fresh graduates are welcome. Safety-conscious and dependable individuals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machines and mechanical equipment are in good operating condition.
• Perform modifications on machines to extend lifespan.
• Perform maintenance jobs according to supervisor's instructions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine or equipment breakdowns.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in good condition and ready for use.
• Maintain a neat, tidy, clean and safe work area.
• Co-operate with safety & health activities and follow company rules.
• Do other jobs assigned from time to time.

Job description

To perform daily maintenance jobs according to instruction from maintenance supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure all the machine and mechanical equipment are in good operating condition.
• To perform necessary modification on all the machine to extend the life spent of the machine.
• To perform maintenance jobs according to instruction from supervisor.
• To troubleshoot and overcome the machine or equipment breakdown problem.
• Responsible to ensure all tools and equipments are in good condition and ready for next use.
• Ensure working place is always neat, tidy, clean and safe.
• To co-operate with any safety & health activities or campaigns organized by the company as well as to obey or to enforce company’s Safety & Health rules and regulations.
• To do other jobs assigned from time to time.

Experience & Personal Skills:

• Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
