Job summary

Haskell Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to our Malaysia team, applying strong mechanical fundamentals to practical industrial process systems. You will work with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams from concept through detailed design and delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution.
2 years of relevant mechanical design experience for Mechanical Design Engineer I; 3–5 years for Mechanical Design Engineer II.
Registered Professional Engineer and/or green mark certification will be an added advantage.
Experience in overseas projects in collaboration with international firms will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Conceptual and detailed design of mechanical and plumbing systems.
Use design software to prepare drawings, models, and schedules.
Prepare complete design packages for SD, DD and CD submissions.
Mentor and monitor Design Associate I team members’ project work.
Coordinate with the Project Associate and Senior Associate to meet schedules and submission requirements.
Travel as required and perform other duties as assigned.
