SBM Offshore is seeking an Engineer with a Diploma to contribute to reliable, cost‑effective engineering solutions across deepwater projects. You will support design optimization, ensure compliance with international codes, and work with a global team to meet project objectives.

Responsibilities include planning activities, delivering on time, and coordinating with vendors to maintain interfaces and contractual alignment.

Qualifications

• Engineer Diploma in a relevant discipline is required.
• 0–5 years of experience in any industry.
• Strong understanding of engineering design and calculations.

Responsabilités

• Select methods and procedures; perform work; optimize the design within specifications in compliance with international codes and SBM standards.
• Plan and complete activities and deliverables within the agreed time frame; ensure system interfaces.
• Ensure Scope of Work is delivered according to contractual and SBM internal requirements.
• Apply lessons learned; understand change impact within and across project boundaries.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties per contractual requirements and SBM internal rules.

Purpose

• The Engineer's purpose is to contribute to design and engineer reliable, cost-effective, and safe engineering solutions that support the projects and the organization’s operational and strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the selection of methods and procedures, performance of the work, and optimization of the design within the scope of the specifications, in compliance with international codes, company and industry standards and regulations.
• You are responsible for planning and completing activities and deliverables within agreed time frame, as well as for ensuring system interfaces.
• You ensure that your Scope of Work is delivered in accordance with both the contractual requirements and SBM’s internal requirements.
• You ensure applicable lessons learnt are used, understanding the change impact within and across project system boundaries.
• You coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties, in accordance with contractual requirements and SBM’s internal requirements.
