Job description

Assist in planning and coordinating mechanical building services (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, vertical transportation).

Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and energy efficiency requirements.

Prepare project schedules, timelines, resource plans, and progress reports.

Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, suppliers, and contractors.

Prepare project documentation (reports, method statements, meeting minutes, technical submissions).

Support site implementation by coordinating contractors and suppliers to ensure systems are installed per approved drawings and specifications.

Participate in vendor evaluation and technical tender reviews.

Conduct site surveys, inspections, and data collection for engineering assessments.

Monitor construction and installation works for compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.

Support commissioning activities including equipment testing and performance checks.

Attend site meetings and follow up on technical and project matters.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Immediate Superior.

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 3 years working experience.

Good communication skills and able to work effectively in a team.

Independent, hardworking, and proactive.

Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).

Strong project management and supervision skills.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.
