Job summary

UEM Edgenta Berhad is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform reliability-centered maintenance and sustainability tasks for complex assets. You will carry out preventive and routine maintenance, log data in the ASIS system, and assist with asset registrations.

The role requires 1–3 years of related experience, a Post Graduate Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, and registration with the Board of Engineers (BEM). Collaborative teamwork across disciplines is essential.

Qualifications

• Post Graduate Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
• Registration with Board of Engineers (BEM).
• 1–3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Independent and adept at working in groups, with the ability to interact with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance according to Reliability Centred Maintenance and Sustainability Program.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance and log data in ASIS (EOD).
• Request goods per SW/SR, monitor vendor progress and verify invoices.
• Attend Testing & Commissioning and assist asset/project registration.
• Ensure compliance with Quality, Safety, Health and Environment per contract; support HSSE/LEAN programs.
