Job summary

UAC Berhad is seeking a Maintenance Engineering Manager in Ipoh to lead preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across plant facilities. You will drive CMMS-based planning, manage KPIs, and oversee CAPA, root-cause analysis, and reliability improvements for recurring equipment failures.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Maintenance Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
• Experience with CMMS and maintenance KPIs, downtime, and work orders.
• Familiarity with boilers, autoclaves, pressure vessels, electrical systems, utilities, and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment breakdowns and downtime.
• Monitor CMMS usage for maintenance planning, scheduling, work orders, and KPI tracking.
• Lead CAPA, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement for recurring equipment failures.
• Control maintenance costs, spare parts, contractors, repairs, and overtime expenses.
• Manage engineering projects, CAPEX activities, procurement, and asset maintenance.
• Supervise maintenance manpower, including training, performance, attendance, and workforce planning.
• Ensure boilers, autoclaves, pressure vessels, electrical systems, utilities, and facilities are safely maintained.
