Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a mechanical drafter to prepare and revise drawings for mechanical, piping, structural and fabrication works at the Port Dickson project sites. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, with familiarity of other design tools an advantage.

You will produce shop drawings, layouts and as-built drawings, interpret specifications and site measurements, coordinate with engineers and site teams, and maintain orderly drawing records.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting or related discipline.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of other design software is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in mechanical construction, piping, structural steel or fabrication is preferred.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and work independently.
• Willing to work at the Port Dickson project site.
• Immediate availability will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise mechanical, piping, structural and fabrication drawings.
• Produce shop drawings, layouts, details and as-built drawings.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and site measurements.
• Coordinate drawing requirements with engineers, project personnel and site teams.
• Maintain proper drawing records and revision control.
