Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Civil CAD Drafter to produce drawings using CAD for infrastructural and structural projects, drafting plans and detailed drawings including layout plans, reinforcement details, sections and construction details, and to update drawings based on engineers' calculations and specifications.

You will work closely with engineers and seniors, ensure all drawings comply with project standards, codes and client requirements, coordinate on resolving discrepancies, revise

Qualifications

• Possess at least a Diploma certificate in Civil Engineering (candidates with sufficient experience but without Diploma certificate will also be considered).
• Have good knowledge in using CAD.
• Have good computer knowledge.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Willingness to learn and take guidance from senior team members.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Produce drawings using computer assisted drafting systems (CAD).
• Draft plans and detailed drawings for infrastructural projects.
• Draft plans and detailed drawings for structural projects.
• Prepare and update civil and structural drawings including layout plans, reinforcement details, sections, and construction details.
• Produce drawings based on engineers' design calculations, sketches, and specifications.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers to resolve drawing discrepancies.
• Revise drawings based on comments from engineers.
• Maintain proper documentation and version control of drawings.
• Assist in submission drawings for authority approvals when required.
