The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, be skilled in engineering drawing, and capable of independently contributing as well as collaborating in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge in engineering design and engineering drawing.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Experience using CAD software (CREO & SolidWorks preferred) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to draft, design, modify, and develop new products.
• Create and design product specifications based on customer requirements.
• Evaluate product functionality, strength, cost, and machinability.
• Coordinate projects to meet customer expectations and product specifications.
• Maintain design activities from planning through final acceptance.
• Prepare design documentation and attend design reviews with production and management.
• Prepare fabrication drawings for the fabrication process.
• Evaluate feedback from manufacturing to improve machinability and cost.
• Verify assembly and functionality of products per specifications.
• Identify root causes and implement countermeasures to improve design quality.
• Generate continuous improvement (Kaizen) for the design process.
• Provide ongoing support for products after shipment.

As a global high-precision technology manufacturer, the company operates across three core business divisions: advanced semiconductor testing contactors, micro-precision fine connectors (such as spring-loaded pogo pins), and automotive communication antenna systems. It develops and manufactures high-reliability, error-free hardware solutions critical for the semiconductor, automotive, telecommunications, and medical device sectors worldwide.

Job Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to draft, design, modify, and develop new products.
• Create and design product specifications based on customer requirements
• Evaluate product functionality, strength, cost, and machinability.
• Project coordination to meet customer expectations and product specifications.
• Manage design activities from the planning phase to final acceptance.
• Prepare design documentation and attend design reviews with the production side and top management.
• Prepare fabrication drawings for the fabrication process.
• Evaluate feedback from the manufacturing site (fabrication and assembly process) to improve machinability and cost.
• Verify the product is assembled and functioning according to specifications.
• Find the root cause and countermeasures for design failure/error to improve design quality.
• Generate continuous improvement (Kaizen) for the design process.
• Provide continuous support/responsibility for the product even if it is already shipped to the customer.

Job Requirement

• Possess at least bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge in engineering design and engineering drawing.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong in problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in minimum supervision.
• Experience to use CAD software (CREO & SolidWorks preferred) is an added advantage.
