Job summary

WSP (Asia) Limited in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to provide design support for ACMV, Fire Protection, Sanitary and Plumbing services across the project lifecycle, from concept through authority submissions. The role emphasizes robust design delivery and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

The position requires a recognised Mechanical Engineering degree with at least 3 years of design experience, familiarity with Singapore Codes of Practice, and BIM/CAD proficiency.

Qualifications

• Recognised Degree in Mechanical Engineering and registrable with PEB Singapore.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in design engineering of ACMV/HVAC, Fire Protection and Plumbing services.
• Strong understanding of Singapore Codes of Practice and local authority submissions (e.g. BCA, LTA, PUB).
• BIM and CAD capabilities (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering design support for assigned projects across the full lifecycle.
• Deliver mechanical services including concept, schematic, detailed design and tender documentation.
• Prepare drawings and submissions for authorities and site administration.
• Support with calculations, drawings, specifications and technical reports.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure coordinated design outcomes.
• Support Digital, Data & AI-enabled engineering tasks and maintain design quality.
