Job summary

RWNA Engineering in Kuantan, Malaysia is seeking a maintenance technician to inspect, service, repair, and calibrate machinery. The role requires performing routine OEM-based servicing, diagnosing faults, and ensuring safe operation of workshop tools and lifting gear.

The candidate will maintain logs, support DOSH inspections, prepare maintenance reports, and participate in training. On-site work and after-hours availability are expected as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery and equipment to diagnose faults.
• Perform routine servicing in accordance with OEM standards.
• Repair and replace worn or damaged components.
• Conduct preventive maintenance schedules on time.
• Support DOSH inspections for lifting equipment and machinery.
• Test repaired equipment to confirm functionality.
• Maintain detailed service and repair logs.
• Identify and order required spare parts.
• Ensure workshop tools and lifting gear are maintained properly.
• Perform troubleshooting for breakdowns on-site or in the workshop.
• Follow safety procedures when operating tools and machinery.
• Assist in calibrating equipment when required.
• Support in preparing maintenance reports for management.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and comply with HSE guidelines.
• Provide feedback to supervisors on recurring equipment issues.
• To attend or pass all the training or courses as required by the management.
• To perform any other task as professionally instructed by the manager.
• Shall be able to be contacted or communicated by the manager at any time (day or night).
