Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an on-site Mathematics Teacher in Rawang for a part-time/contract/internship role. You will plan and deliver lessons aligned with the curriculum, develop resources, and support student understanding of mathematical concepts and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom instruction, assessing progress, providing feedback, maintaining records, communicating with parents, and participating in staff meetings and professional development.

Qualifications

• Strong subject‑matter expertise in Mathematics and/ or Mathematics Core and/ or Mathematics EXtended, with the ability to teach a range of topics clearly and accurately.
• Ability to design effective instruction through Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development that aligns with educational standards.
• Status as a Qualified Teacher, with relevant teaching credentials, training, or certification in mathematics or education.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Education, or a related field.
• Experience teaching mathematics in a classroom setting, preferably at primary or secondary level.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to support students with varying learning styles and abilities.
• Effective communication skills, including clear instructional language and professional interaction with students, families, and colleagues.
• Commitment to inclusive, non‑discriminatory teaching practices and a supportive learning environment.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and to adopt innovative, student‑centered teaching methods.
