Job summary

Broadcom in Malaysia seeks an experienced procurement professional to oversee indirect materials sourcing, supplier selection and governance. You will negotiate contracts, drive cost savings, and collaborate with internal teams to meet business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in procurement or related field.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Oracle knowledge is an added advantage; strong Excel skills.
• Excellent problem solving, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills in English and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Analyze spend and cost to identify savings, cost reduction and avoidance opportunities and programs to support business needs.
• Source, select, manage and develop suppliers; negotiate contracts aligned with company strategy.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to synergize strategies and tactics.
• ProvideExcellent service to internal and external customers to improve customer satisfaction.
• Handle queries or complaints from end-users.
• Ensure procurement governance; monitor and drive improvements to policies.
• Formulate efficient processes and create indicators to monitor progress and results.
• Support management-approved projects, e.g., waste recycling programs involving electronics, plastics, finished products, raw materials, packaging items, and asset disposal.

Job Description:

Responsible for indirect materials sourcing of supplier to support cost structure and strategy.

Responsible for Global Procurement Processes, Policies and Negotiation of price, contracts, terms and conditions.

To strategize, implement and drive supplier integration / streamline to meet business and cost strategies.

Job Functions:

Analysis: Perform Spent and Cost analysis to identify-communicate saving, cost reduction and avoidance opportunities and improvement programs to support business need.

Supplier sourcing, selection, management and development:

Responsible for the planning, assessment and development of strategic regional suppliers.

Source, Select, Manage and Develop suppliers, Negotiate contracts on the basis of the company strategy and regulations.

Internal stakeholders management:

Collaborate with internal customers to synergize strategies and tactics.

Provide good service to internal and external customers to improve the customer satisfaction.

Handling queries or complaints from the end-users

Procurement governance / Process Improvement:

Comply with Procurement Governance. Monitor and drive improvement on Procurement policies.

Formulating efficient and effective process, create indicator to monitor and measure progress and results.

Project Management: Support projects approved by management; eg. Not limited to, waste recycling program involving electronics, plastic, finished products, raw materials, packaging items, assets disposal etc.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Demonstrated experience in Project management.

Candidates with Oracle knowledge have added advantage. Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge is a must.

Other soft skills required: Excellent problem solving & Analytical skills, Strong Interpersonal skills, Good administrative skills, Strong Oral and written communication skills (proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin language)

Preferably with good knowledge in manufacturing processes.

Capable of working independently as well as in a team.
