Job summary

Arrow Electronics Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Manager, Materials Planning to oversee the department, resolve invoice disputes, and improve cash flow. The role leads customer service staff, designs billing processes, and tracks quality issues to drive continuous improvements.

You will manage inventory, implement planning engagements, and standardize best practices. A 4-year degree with 5+ years of related experience is typically required, along with growth opportunities and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a 4 year degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
• Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage the department, overseeing and resolving receivable discrepancies and customer invoice disputes to improve cash flow.
• Manage customer service staff, including hiring, performance management, training and development.
• Design, implement and improve credit issuance and billing processes; develop measures and reports for service requests.
• Track and report quality issues from system data and customer surveys, including disputes and shipping/freight issues.
• Lead inventory management and daily planning activities; set priorities and coordinate with other supervisors.
• Train team members and provide input to performance evaluations.
