Job summary

Arrow Electronics is seeking an Assistant Manager, Materials Planning in Penang to lead the planning team and optimize inventory and billing workflows. You will resolve invoice disputes, oversee customer service staff, and drive process improvements across credit issuance and billing operations.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a 4 year degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Materials Planning department.
• Resolve receivable discrepancies and customer invoice disputes to improve cash flow.
• Supervise customer service staff including hiring, coaching, and evaluation.
• Design and improve credit issuance and billing processes.
• Monitor quality, returns, shipping, and vendor issues using system reports.
• Oversee inventory maintenance and planning engagements.
• Set priorities and coordinate with other supervisors to ensure task completion.
