Arrow Electronics is seeking an Assistant Manager, Materials Planning in Penang, Malaysia. You will manage the planning department, resolve invoice disputes, and drive improvements in cash flow and process efficiency.

The role requires a 4-year degree with at least 5 years of related experience and involves supervising a team, implementing best practices, and coordinating cross-functional support. Arrow offers a strong benefits package and growth opportunities.

• Typically requires a 4 year degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage the Materials Planning department, overseeing receivable discrepancies and customer invoice disputes.
• Improve cash flow by performing root cause analysis of invoice disputes and facilitating customer product returns.
• Supervise customer service staff, including hiring, performance management, training and development.
• Design and implement credit issuance and billing processes; develop key metrics and management reports for service requests.
• Track quality issues using system reports and customer surveys (returns, disputes, shipping issues, freight and vendor issues).
• Manage inventory maintenance and oversee daily planning activities.
• Standardize best practices and drive more efficient planning processes.
• Coordinate daily activities of business or technical support and set team priorities.
• Provide guidance to teammates, support managers, and contribute to employee evaluations.
