Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Senior Executive (Material Planner) based in Johor, Malaysia, to lead end-to-end material readiness and ensure uninterrupted production. You will leverage Kinaxis and SAP to optimize inventory health while mitigating supply chain risk.

This role serves as the central liaison between Engineering, Procurement and Global Customers to achieve revenue targets. The position requires 6–8 years of material planning/inventory control experience, proficiency in SAP and Kinaxis, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or related discipline.
• 6–8 years of proven experience in Material Planning or Inventory Control.
• Experience in NPI and high-mix/low-volume manufacturing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end material readiness strategy using Kinaxis and SAP to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Manage CTB ownership, 13-week rolling demand, and What-If CTB simulations to protect revenue.
• Oversee PR-to-PO pipeline, resolve bottlenecks, lead time management, and EOL parts.
• Improve inventory health via SMI, VMI, and JIT programs.
