Job summary

LEM MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a production operator in Penang to perform manufacturing tasks across 12-hour rotating day, night and weekend shifts. You will follow training and work instructions to ensure quality and compliance with standards.

Maintain 5S and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while reporting any abnormalities to your supervisor. Basic English is required; electronics manufacturing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• SPM/SPMV or certificate with good growth mindset
• 2–5 years experience in high-volume manufacturing
• Electronics experience is a plus
• Basic English (read/write)
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating day/weekend/night shifts

Responsibilities

• Perform production operations across shifts including nights and weekends
• Follow work instructions and technical documentation for quality
• Adhere to Quality, Health, Safety and Security rules
• Contribute to efficiency improvements through discipline and ethics
• Inform manager of abnormal deviations in process, machines or components
• Maintain 5S order and cleanliness at all times
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Job description

Perform all productions operations he/she has been trained in different shifts and schedule (including night and possible week-end shifts)

• Diligently follow what he/she has been trained and understands and follows the work instructions and technical documentations for the best Quality Standard
• Follow strictly the established rules concerning Quality, Health, Safety and Security
• Contribute to the regular efficiency improvement by his/her discipline and professional ethics.
• Inform immediately her/his manager in case of abnormal deviation of the process, the machines or the components.
• Maintaining 5S order and cleanliness at all times
• Be active in the continuous improvement initiatives.

Profile

• Minimum SPM/SPMV/certificate from a recognized institute with a good growth mindset
• Successful 2 to 5 years’ experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the electronics or a related industry is an added advantage.
• Competences in manual soldering is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of English(read and write)
• High professional mindset and disciplined, reliable and trustable.
• A technical school background or on the job training is an added advantage.
• Able to work on 12 hours rotating day/weekend and night shift.
