Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Material Coordinator for a hotel development project. You will coordinate material requirements, deliveries, storage and inventory to ensure materials are available on site according to the project schedule.

You will liaise with Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, Procurement and subcontractors, maintain material tracking schedules, monitor deliveries against orders and specifications, and keep accurate records of DOs, invoices and stock while ensuring proper

Qualifications

• Coordinate material requirements, procurement, delivery and availability.
• Prepare and maintain material tracking schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, Procurement, QS and subcontractors.
• Liaise with suppliers on material orders, delivery dates and lead times.
• Monitor deliveries to ensure conformance with specifications and delivery orders.

Responsibilities

• Check and maintain records of Delivery Orders (DO), invoices and purchase orders.
• Coordinate proper receiving, inspection and storage of materials at site.
• Monitor site inventory and ensure sufficient materials are available for ongoing work.
• Maintain accurate records of material stock, usage and outstanding orders.
• Follow up with suppliers on delays or shortages affecting schedule.
• Coordinate material allocation and distribution to required work areas.
