Job summary

Jabil is seeking a detail-oriented Material Compliance Engineer to support material compliance activities across customer programs. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and business units to drive high standards in material compliance for customer products in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to manage end-to-end supplier engagement while ensuring alignment with customer specifications and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or Materials.
• 2-5+ years of material compliance or regulatory compliance experience.
• Working knowledge of RoHS, REACH and related requirements.
• Familiarity with BOMcheck system and compliance reporting is an advantage.
• Experience engaging with suppliers and managing compliance data collection and validation.

Responsibilities

• Provide material compliance consultation and reporting support to internal units and customers.
• Plan and execute material compliance activities for assigned customers with defined scope and timelines.
• Manage end-to-end supplier engagement, including data requests and tracking progress.
• Deliver training to suppliers on material composition requirements for data collection.
• Perform BOM analysis and validate against internal databases to identify data gaps.
• Compile material compliance reports and ensure accuracy and alignment with specifications.
