ResMed in Malaysia seeks an experienced Production Controller to develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and optimize inventory while balancing capacity and material availability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage demand, supply risks, and delivery commitments.

The role focuses on driving schedule attainment, monitoring performance, and supporting new product introductions and product transfers within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Production Planning, Production Control, or related Supply Chain function.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and production planning processes.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE).

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on customer demand and operational requirements.
• Review and adjust production schedules based on material availability and manufacturing capacity.
• Monitor schedule adherence and production performance.
• Ensure production plans align with customer delivery commitments.
• Lead the Supply Review process to identify capacity and supply constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop mitigation plans for production risks.
• Monitor short-term and long-term capacity requirements.
• Support planning activities for new product introductions and product transfers.
• Balance inventory levels while meeting production and customer requirements.
• Monitor inventory performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Work with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to minimize shortages and excess inventory.
• Partner with Demand Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to ensure alignment on production priorities.
• Communicate production risks, supply issues, and schedule changes to stakeholders.
• Manage expectations regarding delivery commitments and production constraints.
• Analyze planning and production performance data.
• Prepare and maintain production planning reports and KPIs.
• Drive process improvements related to planning accuracy, inventory performance, and schedule attainment.
• Support initiatives that improve operational efficiency and supply chain performance.
