Qualifications

• Proficient with CRM systems and MS Office applications.
• Fluent in English and Malay; Mandarin or other dialects are advantageous.

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Executive / Telemarketer to join our growing team in Puchong, Selangor. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in driving our business development efforts through proactive outbound sales and marketing initiatives. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and promoting our fire inspection and safety services to businesses throughout Malaysia. This role combines telemarketing expertise with marketing acumen, requiring you to be persuasive, organised, and customer-focused.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients to generate leads and present Osafe's fire inspection and safety services
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive pipeline of potential customers across various industries and business sectors
• Deliver compelling sales pitches tailored to client needs and decision-maker requirements
• Qualify leads and gather essential information to pass to the sales team for further follow-up
• Achieve and exceed monthly call targets and lead generation quotas
• Document all client interactions, feedback, and outcomes in the customer relationship management (CRM) system
• Support marketing campaigns by identifying target audiences and coordinating outbound communication strategies
• Follow up with warm leads and nurture relationships to move prospects through the sales funnel
• Provide feedback to the marketing and management teams regarding market trends, client concerns, and competitive landscape
• Maintain detailed records of all calls, meetings, and client information to ensure continuity and accountability

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, or business development roles within a similar industry
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate product benefits clearly and persuasively
• Strong listening skills and ability to identify client needs and pain points
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
• High level of self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle objections and rejection with resilience and positivity
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Fluency in English and Malay is essential; Mandarin or other dialects are advantageous
• Knowledge of fire safety regulations, compliance requirements, or business services is preferred but not essential
• Diploma or equivalent qualification in business, marketing, or a related field
