Job summary

GLOBAL MANUFACTURING GROUP (M) SDN BHD is seeking a proactive Business Development professional to expand our presence across Europe, North America, and East Asia. You will identify opportunities, research markets, and engage in trade shows to drive growth.

You will collaborate with export sales, product, and production teams to ensure successful project execution, while delivering compelling proposals and negotiating contracts with new partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, or international trade.
• Excellent command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written.

This role involves developing and executing business development strategies across Europe, North America, and East Asia markets, identifying new business opportunities, and building long-term client relationships. You will conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and represent the company at trade shows and business events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies for Europe, North America, and East Asia markets
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients
• Conduct market research and analyze industry trends, competitors, and customer needs in target regions
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients
• Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations
• Achieve sales targets and business growth objectives
• Coordinate with internal teams (export sales, product, and production management) to ensure smooth project execution
• Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and business events when required
• Provide regular market feedback and business development reports to management

About you

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or international trade
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Strong understanding of international business practices and cross-cultural communication
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel internationally when required
