Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the academy’s social media platforms and preparing monthly content.
• Write captions, promotional messages and basic marketing copy.
• Create simple posters and promotional materials using Canva or similar tools.
• Assist with photography, video recording and basic editing for academy activities and events.
• Schedule approved posts, monitor social media trends and suggest content ideas.
• Support campaigns promoting memberships, training programmes, events and academy packages.
• Respond to inquiries generated through advertisements, social media and promotions with approved material.
• Follow up with prospects, arrange visits and assist them with the next steps toward registration.
• Maintain the leads database and track follow-up progress.
• Support membership renewal and reactivation campaigns.
• Assist with event preparations and post-event follow-ups.
• Prepare simple marketing updates and reports.

Job Responsibilities

Assist in managing the academy’s social media platforms and preparing monthly content.

Respond to enquiries generated through advertisements, social media and promotions, providing accurate information using approved materials.

Follow up with interested prospects, arrange visits and assist them with the next steps towards registration.

Maintain the leads database, record customer interactions and track follow-up progress.

Support membership renewal and reactivation campaigns.

Assist with event preparations, on-ground promotional activities and post-event follow-ups.

Prepare simple marketing updates and reports, and carry out other related duties assigned by the Marketing Manager.

Requirements

Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.

Good communication and writing skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Comfortable using Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp.

Basic knowledge of Canva, CapCut or similar design and editing tools.

Able to take basic photos and videos.

Familiar with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.

Proactive and confident initiating conversations and following up with potential customers.

Organised, willing to learn and able to work independently.

Able to commute reliably to the academy and work on-site.

Willing to support weekend events and travel to event locations when required.

Interest in sports, shooting, outdoor activities or lifestyle content is an advantage.
