Job summary

Big Root Legacy Group in Sabah, Malaysia, is seeking a Marketing Assistant to support our marketing activities across our brands. You will assist in planning campaigns, manage social media, and create engaging content.

Join a hands-on team to work on branding, promotions, events and reporting, with opportunities to learn digital marketing tools like Canva and CapCut, and to travel to outlets as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, promotions and brand activities.

Manage and update social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

Assist in creating marketing content, captions, posters, photos and short videos.

Coordinate promotional materials, vouchers, events and outlet marketing activities.

Liaise with restaurant outlets, internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of campaigns.

Conduct basic market and competitor research.

Prepare marketing reports and maintain proper records of marketing activities.

Perform other marketing-related duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration or a related field.

Creative, organised, responsible and willing to learn.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Basic skills in Canva, CapCut or other content creation tools are an advantage.
