Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Service & Commissioning Engineer (LCM) to install, commission, troubleshoot, and provide lifecycle support for VFDs and automation systems across Marine, Offshore, and Industrial applications. You will ensure adherence to technical specs, customer requirements, and safety standards.

The role requires hands-on commissioning experience, willingness to travel, and strong collaboration with global teams to drive decarbonization and industrial digitalization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Automation Engineering with 1–2 years' commissioning experience.
• Experience with Drilling VFD systems, BlueDrive, and Marine DP systems.
• Familiar with retrofit projects, system migrations and obsolescence management.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently or in teams.
• Willingness to travel and train customer teams.
• Proficiency with digital tools, remote diagnostics, and Copilot workflows.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation checks, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of VFD and automation systems.
• Conduct functional testing and validation against specifications.
• Provide troubleshooting support under service contracts and during emergencies.
• Serve as the technical interface with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and commissioning records.
• Identify spares and lifecycle requirements and support service proposals.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards.
