Job summary

onsemi in Malaysia (Seremban) is seeking an Equipment Technician to carry out routine reliability-centered maintenance and service ownership machines to sustain MTBA. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, setup, and timely repair ticket responses to minimize downtime.

Candidates should have a Diploma in Electrical/Mechatronics/Electronics and experience with turret-based handlers and vision inspection techniques.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Mechatronic/Electronics required.
• Knowledge of turret-based handler and testing methodologies.
• Familiar with vision inspection methods for lead, Coplan, marking and packages.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine RCM tasks to keep equipment in top condition.
• Check and service ownership machines to sustain MTBA performance.
• Attend repair tickets with urgency and skill to maximize uptime.
• Coordinate with shift ME on output-focused tasks, troubleshooting, setup or conversion.
• Isolate and classify genuine vs non-genuine vision & test rejects to control scrap.
• Follow OCAP, SOP, and buyoff checklists to ensure quality output.

Qualifications

Candidate with Diploma in Engineering discipline of Electrical/Mechatronic/Electronics with several years of experience in semiconductor testing environment is essential.

Knowledge in turret-based handler, multisite discrete and analog testing methodology, automatic vision inspection covers various aspects such as lead, Coplan, marking, packages are key to this job.
